Synoka was founded by Suzanne Elder, a healthcare strategist and public health leader with more than 15 years of experience working to improve patient access, care delivery, and health outcomes.

Her work across healthcare, public health, and the life sciences has repeatedly brought her close to a persistent problem: even effective treatments can fall short when the experience of receiving or using them is unnecessarily difficult.

Synoka grew from the belief that medical devices should be designed with the same attention to the people using them as to the medications they deliver. Synoka is starting with an everyday drug-delivery problem where better design has the potential to make treatment simpler, more comfortable, and more sustainable.
